The control panel worked, but the control panel on this newer model is clearly an improvement, with three buttons with small cup-sized illustrations that can be easily pressed to brew the desired amount of coffee (small tea cups, medium-sized cups), or large mugs). It’s much quieter and doesn’t confuse filters. I love K-Cup coffee (if you’re lucky enough to have an Aldi grocery store nearby, you can get a great K-Cup at a very affordable price). I always get the French Dark Roast Cup, not just for the flavor, but for the intensity of the mix. For my first cup, I use the “big” button and leave the K-Cup in the machine. Bought in April of last year, died in July of this year, lasted 15 months. I called Keurig and they said the one year warranty had expired. I had a Cuisinart dual coffee maker that I had to put up with for four years before finally deciding I had enough. The HORRIBLE splash from the single cup side was terrible. Occasionally the coffee grounds would explode and steam him shots all over the place and then it wouldn’t work at all for about 30 minutes. Absolutely love this k cup coffee maker! Makes delicious hot coffee! So the whisk is very easy to use. It’s very easy to clean, but be careful when the cleaning light comes on. I didn’t see it on and I didn’t know how long it had been on, but one day when I tried to brew coffee, the coffee maker wouldn’t work until I went through the cleaning process for the first time , takes 90 minutes. This is my only complaint with Ninja.
I think you should be able to override the cleaning process until you are comfortable cleaning it. Our house was packed with guests full of coffee drinkers so I wasn’t happy to have to wait. I had to take out the old coffee maker while this was being cleaned. . I’ve had several coffee machines over the years and have never been satisfied so far, so I’m still giving these 5 stars. Highly recommend Ninja But be careful when the bright lights come on.

It was the best present I gave my mother. You can make not only mugs and travel sizes, but also carafes. I know she hates kcups and keurig but I’m glad I got the chance to try it if she wants! or obvious. You can program it to appear bold or normal whenever you set it. You can even tell him to keep the carafe warm! I honestly didn’t know that part, but my non-tech-savvy mom figured it out on her own :). She loves to make a cup, and now everyone is envious (laughs). We do not provide reusable filters for the carafe. Warning only, but for singles. It doesn’t come with a travel mug either, but never mind. She will definitely get her own❤.
